Chemicals and materials processes are central to the technological infrastructure, but bringing them to commercialisation has become increasingly challenging.
Within the group in Southampton, we have experience of both chemical synthesis and electrochemistry, in particular, organic electrosynthesis and flow electrolysis. We are able to offer support including advice on the conditions suitable for a particular chemical transformation, optimising the performance for a new reaction and the scale up of a successful laboratory electrosynthesis.
