The Polar Bear Advanced Cooling Technology uses no heat transfer fluids, solvents or ice – just plug it in and set the desired temperature, from ambient down to -90C. Our Polar Bear Plus takes advantage of the same cooling technology and combines it with the ability to heat - system temperatures from -40C to +150C are achieved at the touch of a button.
Both systems are available in a flexible plate format or as a tubular reactor specifically designed for continuous chemistry. The Polar Bear Plus hot and cold plate includes magnetic stirring and , with its very compact, portable design, it is an ideal addition to every lab. The simplicity of the system ensures high adaptability to suit many applications.
Features of the Polar Bear Plus include:
Temperature range from -40C to 150C
Accurate and precise temperature control
Simple operation - Attach to an electricity supply and set the temperature
No solvents, heat transfer fluids or ice
Small footprint
Adaptable to many applications
